sIMG_0837 - young bald headed eagle. Pics of bald headed eagles were taken near Ketchikan, the first port of call during the cruise. Bald headed eagles will get the distinctive white coat when they reach 4-5 years old.

| sIMG_3976 - fox den with adult red fox and 2 cubs. Quite an amazing sight to see the fox family in the wild. This was taken at the beginning of the tundra wilderness tour. When we passed by on the way back, the foxes were no longer seen (probably out hunting).

| sIMG_3998 - lone caribou in the distance. The caribou was very far away in the distance (probably a mile away) on the far side of the river bank that we passed by. Caribous are the "wild" version of reindeers (which are domesticated caribous).

| sIMG_4105 - dall sheep. The Denali National Parl was established to protect the dall sheep which were hunted almost to extinction. These wonderful creatures were usually spotted near the top of ridges where they could hide away from their predators.

sIMG_4270 - moose. Just as we were resigned to not seeing any moose, one popped up in the middle of the road in front of the bus! It ran away quickly though and I managed to catch the back view.
